This is part of the immigration process - a medical to determine whether or not Ebba will be an unjustifiable burden to the Canadian health care system.
We are still awaiting our court decision (to process the actual adoption). It shoud be completed by the end of November (hopefully earlier!).
Once these two steps are done, they issue her birth certificate, passport, etc, and all that get sent to the Canadian High Comission in Nairobi to issue the visa for her to enter Canada - THEN we can go and get her!
Still hoping for a January travel date.

still hoping and following along with you... actually the visa allows her to enter canada not leave ETH. Our first kids needed an exit visa as well!!! I did not know you were getting PRV, would the cit route not be a little easier? sk
